As there is no mention of any item clause in the Standard rules, you are allowed to use as many of one item as you like in your team.

If it isn't outright banned in the Standard Rules, you can use it.

Do you have any way to trade from one of your games to the other?

Basically, if you have two DS systems as well as two games, you can trade Pokémon from one game to another, so you could move the Pokémon you want to use over to the game you now want to use.

What I'm getting at is, say White is the game you registered, but Black is the one with your Pokémon on. Simply trade your Pokémon from Black to White.

Or just edit your sign up post with the Friend Code of the game you want to use and then give the FC to me so I can change the listing.

If you want to use your Black then it is your choice to make. However, if you wish to trade Pokémon between your games to increase your chances of going further, then you can.

I've been asked by Cool Ivysaur to tell you that all prize Pokémon are legitimate. Aside from Politoed and Ninetales who are Japanese, all of them are English (although those two were evolved in English names so their names appear as such)
